Our Pastors
Joey and Stacey Alcala serve as Co-Lead Pastors of Lifegate Church in Burleson, Texas. Joey and Stacey bring experience in pastoral ministry, discipleship, corporate executive leadership, and leadership development to their roles as Co-Lead Pastors at Lifegate Church. They have served in ministry and leadership for more than 28 years and have been married for more than 25 years. They met while attending ministry school at Phoenix First Assembly—a West Texas boy met a Canadian girl, and the rest is history. They have two daughters: Isabella, who attends Baylor University (Sic ’em!), and Alexandrea, who attends Texas A&M University (Gig ’em!).

Originally from West Texas, Joey has led children’s, youth, young adult, and leadership development ministries and has served as an executive pastor and leadership coach. He holds a Master of Religious Education and a Bachelor of General Ministries from West Coast Bible College & Seminary. His teaching blends biblical truth with practical steps that help people grow in faith, family, and leadership.

Lead Pastor
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Stacey has served in discipleship, ministry training, community life, and guest experience, helping people find connection and take their next steps in faith. She has also spent years coaching and developing leaders in the marketplace, building teams and creating cultures where people feel seen, valued, and equipped to grow.

Founding Pastors
Chad and Amber have been married since 1998. They have 2 daughters Brylea and Addie, a son, Easton, and a grandson, Davey.
In 2006 after 10 years of ministry in Midland the Bensons moved their family to Burleson to start Lifegate Church. What started with just 6 adults and 7 kids has grown into a thriving church that reaches several hundred people each week!
